About Me

Brian D. Buckley, Editor

I’m a copyeditor.

I’m also an author, a blogger, a reader, a computer programmer, a math tutor, a library volunteer, an Ohio State graduate, a juggler, a Trekkie, and a Wikipedia addict. I’ve traveled to Tokyo, Manila, Paris, London, Edinburgh, Dublin, Reykjavik, Mexico City, Punta Cana, Juneau, San Francisco, San Antonio, Denver, and New York. I have willingly jumped out of a perfectly good airplane.

I love J. R. R. Tolkien, David Foster Wallace, Mary Stewart, J. K. Rowling, Herman Melville, Isaac Asimov, Suzanne Collins, Stephen King, Cory Doctorow, Kate Beaton, Douglas Hofstadter, W. B. Yeats, Willa Cather, George Orwell, Sylvia Plath, Joss Whedon, and Shigeru Miyamoto. I also love Avatar: The Last AirbenderBuffy the Vampire Slayer, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, and Babylon 5.

I live near Houston with my wife and son.
